Just a few pictures of some of the wonderful machines I saw last night at the weekly gathering at Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank.
Another amazing display of beautiful things form the past.

American tin junk
Great pics! What camera do you use?
Thank you!
For these I used a Leica camera.
beautiful pics of beautiful cars. The very first photo i recognize as a chevy nomad. Even in black n white the car still looks fantastic. Always wanted to go for a ride in an old restored nomad or a 1955 to 1957 chevy bel air. Vince, how about you? ever owned one of them cars or driven/been a passenger in one? oh, i will guess the third photo(s) are of a 1966 oldsmobile Toronado? very cool car.
Thanks! I do have a friend who has a 2 door 1955 Bel Air. Fully restored and I got to ride in it a few years ago.
Which was quite something.
And that Toronado is very impressive in person. Such a futuristic looking car.
i forgot i too got to go for a ride in a buddy's old chevy. It was a 1956 chevy bel air 4 door sedan . This was about 30 years ago.The ugliest faded algae blue/green rust specked color you can ever imagine. I think it had a inline 6 cylinder. No door panels, no carpets,no insulation, no headliner, no radio, no heater. It was so LOUD when we went for a ride…like a tractor, you could hear every mechanical part grinding away . I believe he bought for a thousand bucks from the previous owner who gave up his plans to restore it. I didnt care…i would ride in the back seat grinning like a happy goof. Old american cars are the best…nobody ever mentions the time i gave them a ride in my 2004 honda civic Si…..ZzZzzzz…lol.
