Just thought I’d share: 1969 Pontiac CF 428 Concept
Last Updated:
This is pretty stunning. An almost forgotten concept.
Designed from “Carrozziere Coggiola” in Italy.
(Which I have never heard of).
This 44 year old design makes me a bit sad. Imagine what cars could look like today if things like these had been produced back then.
They were – it was called the AMC Javelin.
Ha yeah that's what I said when I saw the rear.
What a mess Volvo is doing for the North American market ,don't understand ????
No, no, this had (or has) no relation to Pontiac. The Pontiacs from that time period, such as the 1969-70 Grand Prixs, were just fine and way better than this ugly thing.
The 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado was really quite similar to this prototype. The Toronado was a beautiful and advanced automobile.
There's not a lot from that period that GM didn't do right. Like perfect right. Too bad they're so off track in nearly every way, shape, and form today.
