Chevrolet Traverse test drive coming up…

This is what I’ve been driving this week. Some of you were close.
I’ll answer any questions you might have.
Mine is a LTZ model with AWD.
And yes, the interior plastics are cheap and shiny looking…
WHY????
I didn't like the Traverse when I test drove it at all. I didn't like the way it drove, and the interior while large, didn't feel high quality at all.
I liked (and purchased) the CX-9 out of the five vehicles I test drove.
Why ANYONE would buy this over a
1. New Explorer
2. Pilot
3. CX-9 like somoene else mentioned
Is beyond me. The Travese still feels VERY old GM to me.
It's a typical Chevy. A great value compared to anything Toyota, Honda, or Hyundai. But for an extra couple thousand you could have an Enclave; and that my friend is THE Standard of the World in 6/5-pass CUV/s. Neither Merc nor BMW are as quiet, smooth, or versitle as the Enclave. Sure, the Enclave is not quite up to the standards of Grand Cherokee Overland–but the Jeep has no 3rd seat. So at the end of the day, why settle for second-best (Traverse) when the same dealer probably has an Enclave on the lot?
As much as they want to charge for this, might as well go for the Enclave. My favorite part is when I hear and read car reviewers referring to the front turn signals as fog lamps. They were so cheap with this thing they took away HALOGEN projector lamps for the LTZ model after one year! I can see right through this nonsensical Neo-Uplander/Venture. It's a minivan w/ conventional doors that costs more for it's "CUV" like looks.

2- What's wrong with minivans? Ever own one? They make TONS of sense. It's O;K to own one vehicle that's practrical.

1. On what basis is your argument? The proof is in the pudding. See: Chevy Uplander, Buick Terraza, Saturn Relay, Pontiac Montana SV6….those were the Minivan/CUV Beta Tests. The Lambda Group (Traverse, Outlook, Acadia, Enclave) is the execution.
2. I never said there was anything wrong with minivans, in fact, I HAVE owned one and loved it! They are the most practical vehicle at this size and price point around! That is why I have such a problem with the Lambda vehicles. They want to charge just as much or MORE for impracticality!
