No price yet.
It doesn’t get a 41MPG City rating like the Fusion, but it does a bit better on the Hwy. So in real life driving, it’ll be pretty much a wash.
And much better than the Camry Hybrid.
Plus, the Sonata looks 100 times better than the aging Fusion, especially inside.
And I am sure it will be cheaper too.
Another winner for Hyundai…
Now, if Hyundai would only come out with a station wagon version of this same car, I would buy it over the soon U.S. TSX Sportwagon.
This car is great looking as a sedan, but I really need a little bit more storage room.
I don't think the Fusion looks great. But I really don't think the Sonata looks good either. It's a tossup as to which is uglier.
What's with the shiny black trapezoid bumper? The regular car looks so good, why did they have to funk it up? It would be worth sacrificing gas mileage not to have to look at it.
I think i just fell in love
The Sonata really looks badass, in either hybrid or strictly-gas forms. Should be a car to want, if reviews don't destroy it.
really cheap looking, like a dollar store version of a mercedes. cheap, fugly, chincy, a real embarassment, yuk.
I think it's interesting that Hyundai has gone to so much trouble in creating a new brand styling language on the Sonata that will be shared by the upcoming Elantra and Accent replacements.. then they go and slap a completely dissimilar (and vaguely Audi or Peugeot-influenced) front end on the Hybrid Sonata! Unless this is the "face" of other upcoming Hyundai Hybrids, it's a complete 180 from what they have been trying to accomplish as far as identity. Thankfully the rest of the car still looks great!
An all-new fusion is likely 12 months behind the new Sonata.

LOL! Oh well, I guess haters will always be haters.
Hyundai, unlike Toyota, isn't resting on their laurels. Good job Hyundai.
Dear Vince,
Please stop smoking crack. It's not good for you. It's causing to make irrational statements like, "the Sonata looks 100 times better than the aging Fusion", which simply defy reason and good taste. We love you Vince, so please… stop the madness.
The Sonata is one *ugly* piece of machinery driving down the road. There's nothing graceful about it at all. At least the Fusion has sporty good looks. And the added advantage of not having to admit to anyone that you actually drive a Hyundai.

Am glad you don't speak for everyone. You have to face the fact that looks are subjective and everyone doesn't share your view. But I guess the only time Vince isn't going "mad" is when he shares the same view as you.
I have even more respect now for Vince since he did post your rant, as pointless as rants can be.
i dont really agree with your comment about the fusion because it look sport and its the first hibrid vehicle with smart gauge something thats is really far from been in a sonata or camry….plus the sonata look really bad with that funky front fascia and hyundais always looks cheap no matter what they do
