2010 Lexus LS

New front, lights, bumpers, wheels…
Nothing really new and nothing that was needed, really.
I guess they can use the word “new” in the ads again…

Good looking design. They simply need a sports version.
I think the change is specific only to the hybrid model, so it has the same grille treatment as the HS250.
Mazda headlights, BMW dogleg side glass, "off the rack" wheels & grill. Must be another Toyota-generic.
It didn't need a facelift it was fine.
BLACKLASER…GENERIC CAR WITH QUALITY MATERIALS…SORRY LEXUS. THE SMALL LEXUS HAVE MORE PERSONALITY.

I dont see any mazda with LED headlights like this.
Maybe you need glasses.
I can hardly wait till GM & Chrysler get ramped up again so we can see something fresh / exciting / origional / stylish. SOOO BOORRED of these generic hondota geriatrics. I think Checker was the first company to intoduce new models as "evolutionary — not revolutionary" or "refined" or "improved quality(which just meant unchanged)"
I hope this grill is just for the Hybrid, otherwise this car will get booted from the "BORING" category 😉
The circulated news confirms that this time, the concept and the production are very close.
Definately nothing special.
Vince, it is a MMC. Please do some research as to WHY they are needed.

Exactly.
So far this is about the most boring lux car I've ever seen.
Wow, are those LED headlights!? The current LS looks more muscular than this one IMO. Throw in a pair of LED headlights on the '09 and I will be hunting it down in 4 years as my replacement vehicle 🙂
Yawn!
srsly, what's the point of all those comments about htis thing being boring and "noting special"?? tell me which one of the 7 series, s-class, a8, Ls actually stand out from anybody else and/or actually is "exciting" or "unique" to look at? these are meant for near-retiree's with lots of money looking for a plush ride, stop expecting these cars will evolve into a mercedes CLS or porshce panamera
Hey guys, for those of you that find it boring, try to get a better job. When you can afford it, come back and let's talk.
Oh Boy! It will look more like a Toyota Avalon.
This car looked great to begin with. And it's going to be really hard to improve or change it without screwing it up. I like the new headlights. But all they really did was put the Prius grill on it. BAD MOVE unless it's a hybrid and they're trying to give it a hybridy look to it. Even still though it's got a gimmicky look to it and does'nt suit a high end luxury car.
YES! those are THE SAME HID HEADLIGHTS available on the MAZDA 6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right. Just like the Turndr's face came from the VW Iroc concept.
I like the current LS much better than the one shown here. Along with the new 7 series, this car is invisible. The only unique design element that's noteworthy are the overwrought headlamps, similar to the horrible ones that you'd see on the Infiniti Q sedan. I prefer the S-Class and the A8 even though it is now six years old. Hopefully this picture of a white whale is deceiving, and that the real one will look better. Hell, old wealthy people are going to start buying Buick LaCrosses if Lexus can't do better than this!

No ones going to buy from a company in the midst of a bunkruptcy.
While I have liked the various LS iterations from over the years, this particular refresh seems rather downscale and not really worthy of being sold in Lexus showrooms. Lexus and Toyota design studios have grown too close for comfort, apparently. The grille seems to have been lifted from an Avalon concept and just doesn't seem upscale enough to be a component on a high end luxury sedan.
