And the 300hp V6 is now rated at 29MPG on the highway.
Better than the 26 predicted earlier.

  1. i’ve seen 3 different camaros driving around toronto already! i thought these were already for sale?

  2. There were 2 or 3 at the Toronto Auto Show, I sat in them and was very disappointed in the interiors. Very cheap plastics everywhere, fit and finish left alot to be desired, the gloveboxes were all misaligned, gloveboxes looked like they were “ajar” when they were actually closed. The day I went to the show it looked like there were more GM employees than people looking at their cars ! lol

  3. As much as I want to like this car, it’s just the wrong car for the times (as are Mustangs and Challengers).

I guess we need muscle cars like this to break up the CUV monotony that consumes the U.S. market.

Whatever happened to the Japanese sports coupes of old that were real sporty and still had obscenely high gas mileage?

  4. An almost two ton American car with 300hp getting a 29 mpg highway rating? I don’t believe it one bit. If it were true, this motor should be shoved into everything with four wheels.

  5. You should give some credit where its due since the fuel economy is not coincidentally good. It has direct injection and VVT and the V8 has also a cylinder cutoff system.

I certainly still wish we would also see a comeback of Japanese sporty coupes. Doesn’t look like that will be happening for now.

    Ditto.
