2010 Acura RDX?

It looks like it.
No big news there. Mostly the new corporate face.

Not sure if the V6 will also be offered as an option.
The 2.3 Turbo already has 240hp, so I really don’t think so.

  1. If they are really pushing that grill onto other vehicles without a change they are nuts because it has proven to be an utter failure on the sales floor.

But that point aside I think this is a chop. The grill has higher definition than the rest of the car, and the blacked out “breathing space” underneath the grill and headlights looks utterly fake and forced into the pic, not to mention the integration into the lower bumper looks unrealistic.

  2. just what we need now that gas prices are going up again. A fuel swilling SUV that can be financed if credit score is over 798.

  3. I had been saying for about a year, before ACURA embarked on the ..new face, that it was needed for corporate and product identity. May be they are following your website Vince or may be not. But, if they are reading, they need to reconsider this new face. It is getting to be as bad as the Subaru one. Instead of generating admiration, it provokes comments and analysis, mostly negative. Is that what the designers of ACURA want? It is one thing to be different and distinguished and another to be the butt of… jokes.

  4. The new face actually looks good here…not overbearing. This could really use the V6 cause the turbo lags like and 8 year old girl in a candy store.

  5. Wow!!!… Things are Really Tough over at Acura if all they could afford for a mid model freshening is that cheap substitue grille!

I drove one for over a week and I didn’t think the lag was bad at all, neither did any other professional automotive journalists.

I absolutely loved the week that I had it, I honestly thought it was the perfect vehicle.

  7. Speaking of mid model refreshenings, I hear over at Honda the 2010 CR-V will finally get upgraded satellite radios across the entire model lineup as well as new headlamps and LED tailights. The Pilot’s front grille will also find it’s way over to the CR-V. An SE model with low profile tires, new 18 inch wheels, stiffer sport tuned suspension, new fender flares with front and rear spoilers and upgraded interior will also be available. The engine will also be upgraded to 177 Horses with 161 LBS Torque. The new SE will have 190 Horses with 162 LBS Torque, Straight from the Accord LX, EX and EX-L lineup.

If you heard this from a dealer it is complete BS.

It would be a welcome change to have some more power though.
