2010 Ford Mustang

Last Updated:

Just a teaser until the Los Angeles auto show.

But don’t expect all new.
And the interior, even though most everything is new there, looks also pretty much the same.
I don’t think this will be new enough to compete with the Camaro.
The Chevrolet looks much more like a new car, because it is.

We’ll see…

  1. “like watching Rosie O’Donell do a striptease”

So I take it you absolutely love what you’ve seen so far? LOL

Anyway, the interior looks much better. Its a gradual improvement that modernizes it juuust enough while addressing some of the flaws of it’s predecessor. The Camaro’s interior looks over-retro’d with odd shapes and an overabundance of gauges. Despite what appears to be higher quality materials than what are in the upcoming Mustang, it still manages to look kind of gaudy, IMO.

The Camaro will outsell the Mustang for a time, but let’s keep in mind that the Mustang never went away and it’s sales will still be nothing to sneeze at.

  2. To me the Camaro has it all over this Mustang. The interior of the Mustang looks cheap and out-dated to me. I actually think the Camaro’s looks modern, go figure.

    Perfect.

  4. Looks will be secondary to power. Maybe not as aggressive as Camaro or Challenger, but some people prefer that. And these are muscle cars, so performance will probably play a much more important role. I’d just like to see a six-speed and a motor that develops 350-380hp for the GT.
