New Mustang Logo
Last Updated:
The classic Mustang logo will again be redesigned for the new 2010 model.
I guess this is the biggest Mustang news until we finally see the “new” one this November.
Let’s also hope they replace the base V6 engine. 200hp from a 4.0 Liter engine should be acceptable in a 2010 car…

I see Ford is investing its deisgn dollars in very productive things. A change to the Mustang logo is like the proverbial answer to the question nobody asked.
The new logo is an improvement. The old one looks melted.
But no one will really notice, will they? If the car is crap, all the logos in the world won’t save it.
Um…unless that logo is a three pointed star.
What!? a black horse to go with the black president 🙂
Now change that hideous Blue Oval!
“Let’s also hope they replace the base V6 engine. 200hp from a 4.0 Liter engine should be acceptable in a 2010 car…”
Not when other manufacturers makes V6s that deliver over 300hp. The 3.6 in the new Camaro is good for over 300hp. So yes, let’s hope Ford replaces the base V6 engine, because 200hp from a 4.0L engine is totally unacceptable in a 2010 car.
Who cares about horsepower…It is the low end torque that matters.
I’d never have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out. But I pay very little attention to Mustangs anyway.
