looks just like the pathfinder from the rear…i am very disappointed! either honda designers have gone lazy or they are retro styling their cars now (think 1980s…)
at least it does have an attractive dash and a glass hatch…
How did you come up with the name “Hollywood Extra” for a car website? It doesn’t make sense. It sounds like the Enquirer or Star magazine..

honda builds garbage. a friend of mine works in alliston ontario building these garbage machines and he just bought a mazda 5. he said if you saw how they were built, you wouldn,t buy one either

Vince, Who said Isuzu was pulling out of the U.S. at the end of the year? Here we have the Mid-model update of the Trooper designed by Nissan for sale at your Honda dealers soon. Why not? Isuzu made a rebadged Trooper for Acura back in the early 90’s.
Lets be honest if you see pretty much anything being built you wouldn’t buy it… If you knew what the food you’re eating went through (whether being processed or cooked at a restaurant)you wouldn’t eat again. I know a few body men, and they wont even buy a new car. In the long run they’re all crap (There is just various levels of the crap).

It does not look too bad in person…Maybe Honda will replace that goofy Element with the Crossroad now.
Get used to seeing that new front end grille design! Honda execs said that we will be seeing more of the same on the upcoming replacement for the Element as well as the Ridgeline and the mid model refreshening of the CR-V, just to name a few. Just like Acura’s new trademark grille, Honda has decided to try their hand at the same idea. Just a quick note: The new Pilot features a separate opening rear glass hatch, independent of the whole rear hatch, just like the 2nd generation CR-V did. This is the Biggest Gripe from people who owned a CR-V and traded up to the new design without it so Honda decided to bring this useful idea back to the new Pilot too!
Andy, how does your “friend” know how Mazdas are made? Has he ever been on the Mazda 5 line? Does he know anyone who works on the Mazda 5 Line?

Is that why Honda tops CRs reliability list and has the best resale value and constantly wins comparison tests in MAJOR automotive publications? I am NOT a Honda fanboy (Toyota fan) but ignorant comments like this irritate me.

Altima is consumer reports best rated sedan period and the camry is on the “NOT” recommended list, don’t be bothered by your friend buying an Altima, he has the best car made. You know, jealousy can manifest itself in many ways. relax!

I’m far from Jealous when it comes to getting ripped off…..18-19,000 is ideal for a base vehicle of that class/size. However, dealers get away with murder when they tack on that markup…just like hyundai.
If what a previous post states is true, I will wait to see this type of grille on a refreshened CR-V in a year and a half. It will be worth the wait since it desperately needs a real grille in place of that weird grin it now has.
crv is junk too, did any of you fools know that in an awd crv, when you go over 70 km/hr ( canada ) your awd drive does not operate, rendering it a 2wd only? what a piece of crap! Like every other honda , low tech, old tech.
Uglier than an Aztek? You obviously don’t know ugly. I don’t care about the grill on this a bit, but on the whole, I’d say it’s plain, rather than ugly. You could argue that it’s utilitarian – and that’s valid. However it’s possible to make these things both utilitarian, and genuinely attractive, like the Mazda CX-9. Ah, but what about reliability? According to CR, the Mazda CX-9 and CX-7 are frequent visitors to the repair shop, and the Pilot is essentially bullet-proof. So when it comes time for my wife to trade in her Pilot, will she go for sexy or reliable? We’ve had 0 problems on our Pilot, and only 1 in 155,000 miles on our old CR-V. It will be a Pilot. She also likes the Acura MDX, but we could take several international vacations on the price difference.
