2022 Nissan Frontier: Finally…
Last Updated:
After all these years, we finally get to see an all-new Nissan Frontier for 2022.
As expected. it comes with a 3.8 Liter V6 with 310HP. And a 9 speed Automatic.
It is also about 5 inches longer than the old one.
I think it looks fine. It has a classic pick-up truck look. Nothing really original. The front end does look quite modern.
But the competition isn’t resting either. An all-new Ford Ranger is just around the corner. And of course, GM is working on a new Chevrolet Colorado. The competition will be pretty tough for the new-comer…
18 years later we have something that will be confused for an F-150 at distance….
Or a Ram even. Regardless, it is a big improvement imo, and much more rugged looking. The powertrain seems to be pretty spot on also, especially without the CVT.
What if the F150 and the Tacoma had a baby… And a really old platform.
That dashboard is really terrible, especially in the close up pics. Also, the same old 2005 Frontier frame is reused here, just like the new Z.
I'm sorry, but this is a horrible design. Nissan's new design language is just bad and looks like a rift from Mitsubishi.
the interior looks dated already. Take away all the orange highlights and it's a sea of uninspiring forms in dark greys. The exterior is just OK, will not age well.. on the outside, the front overhang is weirdly very long, the 3/4 pics hide this but the side view proportions are a bit off. why?
I was thinking more GMC Sierra
