More on this Chinese SUV
Last Updated:
For all Chinese car fans out there.
Here are actual pictures of this SUV I had on the site (as an illustration) a couple of days ago.
It seems that Chinese car makers are trying to move to more mature, or conservative, (or just less weird) designs in order to better export their models.
This just shows us they are getting ready.
JD Powers mentions Geely will enter the US market in 2008. Maybe ahead of Chery (Which might be delayed until 2009)
Like it or not, 10 years from now many of you will be driving Chinese cars…
We are already driving chinese cars. Only they aren’t badged as such. Crawl around the various parts of your ride and be amazed at all the chinese parts on it.
Coming to a dealer near you, chervy cararo, rodge ram and rincoln round cah.
maybe YOU will be driving a chinese car in 10 years but the rest of this country will not be.
This thing is an exact replica of the Acura RDX with a Saab front accent.
Yeah some of us might be driving their cars in 10 years, but at least in this great country there is something call the “law” that protects creative thinkers. Unlike China where the only creativity is a copy machine.
I’d like to see the shape of that tailgate when it’s opened.
Agree, first came cheap japanese copies, then cheap korean copies, now cheaper chinese copies will arrive. Americans will buy them because they are cheap, no question. It so funny to see the reaction against the chinese when japan and korean did the exact same thing.
“Like it or not, 10 years from now many of you will be driving Chinese cars…”
I WILL NOT BE DRIVING A CHINESE CAR, EVER. I DON’T CARE HOW GOOD THEY LOOK, DRIVE, OR HOW LITTLE THEY COST. I WILL SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY WHERE I ALWAYS HAVE. AT MY LOCAL HONDA OR ACURA DEALER.
But this is not a Geely?
This is the JAC Rein, by the Hyundai partner Jianghuai, isn’t it?
Better than any American SUV out there.
