Peugeot 308
Last Updated:
The 307 still looks great…
But I guess a new 308 is still coming next spring. (illustration above)
In related news, the new 207 isn’t selling as well as they want. the 206 is still very popular.
Sales of both models don’t even equal the Clio…
Here is the “old” current 307
It’s really not all that different from the old one.

I don’t think it’s sopposed to be very different, just more modern, which it certainly is (at least in my opinion). Good job as always, Peugeot.

Respectfully, this car isn’t “more modern.”
I said “in my opinion”!

Yes, you certainly did. But when you offer an opinion on a blog, it’s fair game.

Inquiring minds want to know.
Too derivative, like the change between 204 and 304. I remember when there were bigger differences between generations, e.g. 604, 505 and 605. I am not sure if the styling is contemporary enough in this heavily contested segment, and remember this car will still be in production at the end of the decade.

Well, to start, it’s spelled “variation”.
I think on the new one the lights are more upright, which many people consider to be modern. The new one also has a more aggresive stance, which is also considered modern.
On the other hand, perhaps it just looks more modern because it’s a drawing. I won’t know until I go to Europe and see both of them at once, which probably won’t be for another 10-20 years or so!
