2007 Inifiniti G35

Last Updated:

The exterior is a bit of a let down to me.
I was really expecting much more than a “melted” version of the current design.
But, from that detail at least, the interior seems to be much better .

We’ll see more real soon.

  1. The G35 is what 5 years old already, yet I think the coupe is still sexy. This sedan doesnt look that much different than the one currently out today. It seems more like a midcycle refresh (the exterior anyway)

    Eghhh

  2. i have a question the aura was trashed, and this cars interior doesnt look cheap….come on other than the fancy electronics this would have been nice in a mazda 3, or nissan sentra….i guess infiniti could care less about interior quality since cadillac is getting all the criticism..and people only care about the g35’s performance….which is why they will never be as good as the 3 series it is high quality and high performance not just high performance

  3. Excuse me for the vulgarity, but what the hell is Nissan thinking?

This is supposed to be “all new” and redesigned?

This looks almost exactly the same as the current G35! In fact I think the headlights look worse than the current model.

The interior looks improved, but it’s still nothing spectacular. Certainly not class leading.

This “new” G35 will be on the roads for the next 4-5 years, and looks virtually identical to the current one. This will look *very* bland and dated in a couple of years.

The “updated” Maxima, the “new” Altima, and now the “new” G35 … I can’t believe it, but Nissan has seriously dissapointed, and I think that Nissan might be in trouble.

The competition is not standing still … in midsize sedans, we got an updated Sonata and a new Accord coming soon, not to mention new cars from domestic makers.

On the entry level luxo front, the “new” G35 with it’s dated exterior will have to compete with a new CTS, a new TL, plus new variants of the Lexus IS such as a coupe.

Things are certainly not looking good for Nissan.

  4. I’m confused…wasn’t it supposed to be a G37 with a new body, etc? This looks like a mild revision, sort of like how Benz has kept the C class looking relatively the same…

  5. Not enough to call it an evolution.
Somes sketchs was a lot better even with same theme. I’m disapointed !

  6. If this is the new G35 from Infiniti.. it’s Where Acura will set the bar with the new TL in the next 2 years. (Hoping they will switch to RWD platform)

  7. I GUESS ACURA SHOULD PUT TWO MORE DOORS ON THE RSX AND CALL IT A NEW TSX. LOL! THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT?
I AM WONDERING IF THEY RAN OUT OF MAGIC POWDER IN THE BLACK BAG, OR MAYBE THEY FIRED THE LAST DESIGNER AND NO ONE THERE HAS ENOUGH BRAIN TO COME UP WITH ANYTHING BETTER.
I THOUGHT IT WAS SOME CHINESE COPY OF THE G35 COUPE.

  8. I’m so disappointed with the front end! When the G35 first came out, the front end was the most appealing part of the car! I own a coupe and when I saw the concept pictures I was happy with the interior they had on it. If the G sedan interior trickles down to the coupe, that is going to suck. It is so uninspired. And so is car as a whole!

  9. I am surprised by all of the negative comments. Now that we can actually see what the car looks like it is clear that the new G35 was made to look like a smaller version of the M 35. Even the inside from what we can see is similar to the M car. This car is supposed to have 300 horses under the hood from the 3.5 V6. This car could be the fastest car in its class and price range. Now really whats not to like here.

  10. soooo ? do you have to lean forwards and look down to any of them buttons in front of the navigation ? a total crash waiting to happen ! plus take your eyes off the road for a few more minutes to find out how lost you are ? ohh please buy a freaking map book ! and pull over !

  11. The back looks nicer than the current G35’s, and the overall car looks nice from the back. However, everything looks too much like the Altima. And the front view isn’t that great–it looks like it has a big, blubberous ass from that angle. Also, the hood ought to come down to tne headlights and the grille, not stop at that awkward position above. The headlight shape looks nice, but the grille is not much to be excited about. The interior is has-been…been there, done that.

I wasn’t expecting much of a change, though. I mean, come on…the G37 concept coupe thing they showed at the recent auto show didn’t look much different from the current G35 coupe in any way, shape, or form, so I don’t know why some people thought there would be radical redesign.

  12. By the way, I see a lot of bad panel fittings in that pre-production picture. Let’s hope that doesn’t translate to the real thing.

  13. how is this car supposed to look like the m, when the m was meant to look like the last generation g35. it has more creases, like the last g35 this thing, looks like a bloated version of the g35 i hate to see what the coupe or fx look like for that matter when they are “all new”. bad desighn at infiniti is coming back…anyone sure those pics arent of the new j30

  14. The photos that are up on this website make the G35 look bad. Go to Infiniti.com and see the virtual tour they have there. The photos of the new G35 are a lot better and the car is very stylish. I think Nissan did a great job on the car. I also think that this G will perform just as well if not better than the last one.

  15. Looks a bit like the old V35, but I don’t want to dispute what Anonymous wrote above since I haven’t checked out the site. I think we do tend to be disappointed when companies build on present successes, and want for more radical changes, though customers might suggest something different in market research. My gut feel: despite what I just said, it’s too close to the old one. There was a way bigger departure from the R34 Skyline to the V35 than this time round. The market has moved on.

  16. The new G3 features a wide array of standard safety components like Infiniti Cold Air Intake, this has been done by Nissan community, you did a great job on the car with an eye catching simple car parts that will opt in terms of performance.
