Hyundai Minivan
Last Updated:
Not sure what the name will actually be. Maybe the “Trajet”.
Anyway, this is the on again, off again Hyundai version of the new Kia Sedona minivan.
It looks OK, but not really better than the Kia.
And it looks like they are each other closest competition…
Here is the Kia.
As you can see, not much difference. Just the front and the rear lights. Not sure if the interior is new.
I guess they figure if Chrysler can sell they minivans though pretty mauch all they brands, why not….
I’ve heard many times it’s going to be called Entourage…
The Hyundai seems sportier looking.

Unless Hyundai themselves asked you to remove the picture, you should refuse. If it is on the web it is in the public domain. This is the same argument used by those who take spy shots when the car markers protest their property being photographed.
I’ve heard that Hyundai cancelled plans for the badge-engineered Kia Sedona — to be called the Hyundai Entourage –, and decided to develop a new vehicle based on the Portico concept. The Portico is kinda crossover people mover in the vein of the Mercedes R Class, and upcoming Volvo V90, BMW V5, and future Ford and Lincoln ‘people movers’
I don’t know man. As much as I dislike GMs minivans (heck most minivans) this one reigns on the ugly side IMO.

That would be nice if it was true, but it’s not. Copyrighted material thats published on the internet does NOT become public domain. Copyrights dont magically dissapear. Also copyright law in no way affects spy photographers taking photos of prototypes. They are able to shoot photos of those cars because they are in pubic place in plain view of anyone.
That thing looks worse than most appliances.
A friend of mine power washed his Kia and the dirt and PAINT came off. They had better include quality in the formula!
Kia and Hyundai are partners. So don’t expect much. Can you find a 7 year old Hyundai still on the road??? I can find many Mazda and Nissans that are 10 years old still goin’
I have seen more pics of this Sedona (see link). It looks very promising. Again, a non-domestic brand kicking ass and taking names. Why can’t GM learn from this? And they wonder why they are loosing profits. The GM minivans are dated and uninspiring. I dont know/see why anyone would plunk their hard earned cash for it. Good to know there is an affordable alternative. Hopefully KIA’s reliability woes will not haunt this good design.
