2022 Genesis G80 e

The new Genesis G80 is barely out, and the brand is already hard at work on an electric version.
The car pictured above looks like an early prototype, since it doesn’t seem to have a proper charging port.
So we are probably looking at something that is over a year away.
And it also could be “just” a plug-in hybrid version. Although Genesis has already mentioned they will offer a pure electric version of the new G80 in the future.

Depending on price, this could really push the new G80’s popularity. As it would not only compete with the usual mid-sized luxury sedans, but with Tesla as well.
