2027 Toyota Venza/Harrier.

The Toyota Harrier (AKA Venza in the US) is apparently getting ready for a redesign. That could mean a third generation coming to the US as well.
The previous generation was based on the previous RAV4. However, sales were never that fantastic in the US, and the Venza was discontinued before the RAV4 was redesigned for 2026. In the US, the Venza was replaced by the Toyota Crown Signia. A larger and more expensive vehicle.
The next-generation Venza (OR Harrieri Japan) is rumored to use a new Hybrid system based around the upcoming all-new 1.5 Liter engine from Toyota. A PEHV would be a more powerful option.
While the previous Venza was based on the RAV4, it looked totally different. It even looked like a Lexus model more than a Toyota. I think this has been quite popular in Japan and the next one could also adopt a “Lexus-like” design.
I guess there might still be room for a new Veza in Toyota’s US lineup as well. Since the new 2026 RAV4 is expected to start at around $33,000. And the base price for the larger Crown Signia is almost $44,000.
The next-generation Harrier is rumored to adopt a coupe-like shape. Something a bit sportier and more sophisticated than the rather blocky-looking 2026 RAV4.
It might not be as roomy but at least it’ll look better.
