The rear shot isn’t terribly exciting looking, but alot more “aero” and smooth looking compared to, say, a Tahoe. But what doesn’t look better than a Tahoe? Wasn’t this supposed to be the big body-on-frame SUV, with a pick-up spinoff too?
Can’t say much about, please post more pics. I can’t believe the speed in which Hyundai is pumping out these new models. I wonder what kind of success they will achieve in the next 5 years.
I wonder….. why is hyundai putting out gas hogs now? I guess they never looked at the sales of toyota’s and honda’s fuel efficient cars, that are selling very well recently?
It’s like they’re a day late and a dollar short. yes, these things still sell, buit not like a year or two ago.
Also, i thought it was a minivan at first!
Squarish Lexus LX meets curvy Subaru Tribeca … I like it! Hopefully not too late to the game, though.
Havnet posted here in a while but this has caught my eye.
At first, it looks very “Hyundai” with the curved flowing lines (that can be attractive if done right. Second I noticed how the rear wheel fenders flow right into the rear bumper. I have not seen this particular design before. It works well on an SUV and probably only on an SUV considering how low the bumper would have to be in such a design.
looks hot, and original as well. good job again hyundai. ive officially disowned toyota, and cant wait for the new RWD tiburon
Put the rear of this suv to this other suv for a truly wacky looking suv click this lmao
The name that this car will probably have is Hyundai Veracruz. Hyundai registered the name with the trademark office in the United States.
Still a car based SUV, and not “that big” with a 3.8 Liter engine. So this should not be such a “gas hog”…
Hyundai has told the NHTSA that it will be known as the 2007 VeraCruz. It will have these safety items standard:

Look for formal naming late August
The back looks too similar with a Subaru B9 Tribeca. Yet again Hyumdai takes style from other people.
Alot more pictures of the “EN” (Hyundai SUV larger than Santa Fe).https://www.hyundaiexchange.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=412&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0I heard that it is not the Terracan, but a SUV specifically made fot the US. Codename: EN
Don’t forget this pic too, .
