2017/18 VW Golf
Last Updated:
The curent model is a good looking car. So new lights and bumpers don’t ruin it (Although there is a lot of stupid black plastic trim now)
Inside, the large center screen looks good.
(But I still see the digital instruments screen as a gimmick.)
Outside, LED tail lights are now standard on all models too.
There is a new 1.5 Liter engine with 150HP. Not sure yet if this will be replacing the “new” 1.4 Liter that is the base engine here in the Jetta. (Our US Golf comes with a 1.8 Liter as base engine)
And, at least in Europe, the 6 speed auto is replaced by a new 7 speed unit.
It is a 2017 model in Europe.
But should be coming here maybe next summer (or even a little bit before) as a 2018 model.
you forgot to mention AWD may be optional
Omg that centre dash stack is directly out of a 1995 Altima.
Nice update. Wish I didn't hate Volkswagen so much.
wow same old same old…..i cannot believe it
Haven't we seen this movie before?
Pure utter VW crap right Chris?
Are they lying about the specs or are they proven? One never knows with VW or Toyota
Is this all they could come up with?
Except for Mercedes. German cars are redos of the same design we've seen for decades
