2024 Lexus TX.

Lexus has just released a new teaser for the 2024 Lexus TX SUV.
The new TX is based on the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander. (bottom pic). That means it will probably be the same size and use similar powertrains. Although being more upscale, I would think the base model would come with the 2.5 Liter Hybrid powertrain and not the 2.4 Turbo engine that is the base offering in the new Grand Highlander. If you ask me, they actually should make the Hybrid Max engine the only choice in the Lexus version. And a PHEV version would be a very nice option.
So far the Grand Highlander has been getting mixed reviews. Most have been praising the interior, but the base engine has been criticized for being quite rough which wouldn’t be acceptable in a Lexus at all. (Although it’s the same one used in the new 2023 RX)
We won’t have to wait too long to see the 2024 Lexus TX since it will be unveiled on June 8th. And no matter what, it can’t look much worse than its Toyota cousin…
So far it looks like the Lexus TX illustrations I posted late last year were pretty accurate…
