2024 Toyota Century SUV

Toyota is still working hard on its new top-of-the-line SUV version of the super expensive Century sedan.
Although it will just be a “Century” in looks and name only as the new model will not be based on the large RWD luxury sedan but on the Toyota Grand Highlander. Which could sound weird for something that is intended to compete with high-end luxury SUVs like the Range Rover.
I guess Toyota figures most people don’t really care what’s underneath, as long as it looks like an SUV version of their most expensive car, things will probably be fine.
The Century sedan has always been a Japanese market-only model and this new SUV will probably be staying in its home market as well. I can’t really see Toyota offering a product that much more expensive than a Lexus over here.
