2024 GMC Acadia

The GMC Acadia is all new for 2024. It is larger than before and now shares its platform with the new 2024 Chevrolet Traverse.

The only engine offered isn a 2.5 Liter 4 cylinder with 328HP. Which might be powerful enough but will be no match to the 3.6 Liter V6 for smoothness.

The giant chrome grille is pretty horrible looking in my opinion. And the rest of the car, although pleasant, seems very derivative. It reminds me a lot of many other SUVs, especially from Nissan. This is just not a very modern design. I think the new Traverse looks much better.

  1. The way it’s handled, GMC existing is pointless. People thinking the ‘G’ and ‘M’ are for General Motors isn’t good either.

  2. I agree with you – the new Traverse is better looking. This thang, however, feels like an AI request for a large, bland, generic, 3-seat, SUV with snoozefest ambiance and voilá we have GMC Acadia. I’ll pass and so will many others.

  3. I think it is stunning! The BEST version of the GMC ‘C’ headlights by far. Way better looking than the traverse. I dont have a need for something this big but am hoping the new terrain looks exactly like this scaled down, although i have a strange suspicion they will ruin it with some sort of split headlight like they did with the canyon.
