2025 Hyundai Ioniq 7.

The image on top is a fantastic illustration from YMammouth showing what the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 7 EV could look like.
When comparing it to the Hyundai Seven Concept from 2021, it is actually a bit more aggressive and more attractive. It also shows the black plastic cladding the production car will have around the wheels. Something the concept didn’t have. I think something like this would be much, much more attractive than the Lego-like-looking Kia EV-9. While still looking very modern and original.
So far it seems the Hyundai version of the new EVs is a bit cheaper than their Kia cousins. For instance, the Ioniq 5 starts at $41 650 while the most basic version of the Kia ev6 starts at $42 600. This is not really a big difference, but it also means the Ioniq7 could start at a bit under the base Kia EV9 at $ 55,000. Even at a bit over $ 50,000, the big Hyundai EV will still be quite expensive. However, Hyundai is planning to produce EVs in the US in early 2025, which will qualify them for federal incentives.
Even at a bit over $ 50,000, this could be the cheapest 3-row Electric SUV in the US for a while. With incentives, it won’t be much more expensive than other large 3 rows ICE models.
