It doesn’t show the base LT model but features the new Activ version as well as the RS. These are mostly visual packages, as the Activ will not really compete against the Bronco Sport. And the RS is not a sports car.
Still, I think Chevrolet has done a very nice job with the new Equinox. And its interior seems to be a step above most of its competition. No pricing yet, but it will probably start close to $ 30,000. Just like all of its competition. It could be hurt by its only powertrain, which is the same old 1.5 Liter Turbo with just 175HP. It might be enough for most, but there are no optional powertrains available, and no hybrid. Which could cost Chevrolet.
The new Equinox EV is also coming. And that will be priced from around $ 35,000 to $ 52,000. before incentives. This means many versions could be cheaper than the ICE Equinox.
The main issue will be recent problems GM has had with the Ultioum products, especially the Blazer EV, and how long it will take them to solve them.
meanwhile, the good old “regular” Equinox will be here, probably better than ever…
EV’s are on the verge of complete and utter failure….good riddance…
