Audi A6 e-Tron.

This is it.
After over 3 years of waiting, delays, etc.. The new Audi A6 e-Tron is finally out. Well, almost, since the official day is tomorrow.
As you can see, the production car looks exactly like the 2021 concept. At first.
The fake Audi grille is actually much smaller on the production model, which is great. The lights have been redesigned and re-arranged which was expected. But the rear end is actually very different.
It starts with the 3rd side window being much larger on the production car. A plus for visibility. And the rear-end design is completely different, more in line with other Audi models. I guess they just couldn’t decide to actually do something new…
The rear hatch design is also kind of a mess and rather unrefined looking. While the one on the concept flowed much more naturally with the design of the car.
This could be really nice, however, not looking that modern anymore, 3 years later. I would guess the interior will be very similar to the one in the new Audi Q6 e-Tron since the A6 is using the exact same platform.
I have higher hopes for the wagon version…
I think it looks great, concept rear reminded me of the KIA Stinger.
From the front, I can’t stop seeing the previous gen Hyundai Kona
a pity, the concept rear was much nicer and more distinctive even if the wraparound lights had a hint of Kia stinger (a great design, BTW).
