Honda Prologue test drive video.

Last Updated:

This short video shows some of my experiences with the all-new Honda Prologue EV driving it for a week.

While the driving part was pretty excellent, as usual with non-Tesla EVs, the public charging part was not. Busted chargers, ICE cars parked into EV spaces, EV chargers under construction. I’ve (almost) seen it all in just a week.

However, I ended up plugging the Prologue into one of my home’s 110V outlets and everything was fine with around 40 miles added to the range every night. This crazy public charging issue will no doubt get much better once Honda (and all others) gets NACS adapters for their EVs. As my charging experience with a Tesla Model 3 was perfect.

Otherwise, the new Honda Prologue is just an excellent car. Roomy, quiet, comfortable, and quicker than most ever people need. On top of that, I think it looks great.

  1. Wonderfull review, and the only thing I’d suggest is some in-car audio (with the radio off) so the viewer can get a sense of the drivetrain sounds.

  2. I love the Prologue design. But then, everything looks better with a Barry White soundtrack playing.
