Kia is still testing the next generation Kia Telluride. And now we even see a bit of its all-new interior.
Outside, the new Telluride still looks a lot like the next-generation Hyundai Palisade which is right around the corner. This is mostly due to the glass area looking exactly the same in both vehicles. I guess there will be some major cost-cutting there. Or maybe the current generation Tellurude and Palisade already share windows?
No matter what, it will be more obvious with the new angular styling of the next generation.
As you can see, the Telluride will keep offering quite a distinctive design for its front running lights. Something they had toned down a bit with the recent facelift.
Just like the 2026 Palisade, the new Telluride interior seems to have a pretty modern yet softer look. A very different vibe from the new angular exterior design.
A new telluride will be a huge deal for Kia. Since the current generation is still very popular with over 110,500 of them sold last year alone. That number is actually the best ever for the big Kia SUV. Over 73,000 of them have already been sold this year as well.
One way the next Telluride could be even more popular is by adding choices to the available powertrain. A new 2.5 Liter Hybrid version has been rumored for a while. Which would of course broaden the appeal of the big Kia. The current 3.8 Liter V6 is also rumored to be replaced by a more efficient 3.5 Liter version.
Since when have only started seeing prototypes of the new Telluride months after seeing the new Palisade, I would assume the Kia version will be unveiled sometime in 2025. While we should see the new Hyundai before the end of the year.
They doubled down on the amber DRLs. KIA wants to make sure customers never complain about not having them ever again since they were missing from the 2023 model, lol!
