Toyota just unveiled this all-new BZ7 sedan in China, and it looks pretty fantastic.
Of course, this is just a concept for now. But we’ve seen the BZ3 concept keeping the exact same design when it turned into an actual production car a few months later. The car we see where is probably about 99% of what the production version will be. Which is great news.
This is really what the 2025 Toyota Camry should have been. Instead of a refresh of a 2017 model. I also love the rear hatch. This design takes the BZ3 sedan a few steps further. And also shows what Toyota can do when they really want to come up with a good-looking sedan.
The new sedan is the product of a partnership between GAC and Toyota for the Chinese market. The joint venture was created 20 years ago and has been producing many Toyota models for the Chinese market. Like the new BZ3X and BZ3C, BZ4X, CH-R, Camry, Highlander, and others. This means we will probably never see the BZ7 over here or even outside of China. Which is a shame.
The new Toyota BZ7 sedan is rumored to start production in the summer of 2025 and will compete in China against the new Nissan N7. And many, many other EV sedans from the numerous Chinese EV manufacturers.
Over here, Toyota will serve us a couple of new 3-row EV SUVs. And these have already been pushed back by almost a year. No new EV sedan has been rumored for the North American market so far…

Looks magnificent, wow, what a nice design, Toyota nailed it. Looks imo like a Toyota as well.
