2026 Toyota RAV-4.
Last Updated:
Once in a while, it’s fun to see what the internet thinks of the next-generation Toyota RAV-4. As it will be new for the 2026 model year, but how new?
Toyota could still pull a Camry and serve us the same design with a new front end and redesigned rear lights. With an updated interior. Unless they do what they’re supposed to after 7 years, and give us an all-new model.
. The first illustration does look pretty realistic. That would be a conservative new design, which is what Toyota is often known for.
. The second one is just a quick series of prompts and looks too fake to be considered.
. The 3rd illustration does look like a facelift similar to the 2025 Camry. Which would just be sad news.
. In number 4 we have what looks like a smaller Grand Highlander. Which is actually very realistic and something Toyota might just do. Something that boring looking is also what they’re known for…
. The last one is another unrealistic work, however, the design does look pretty nice. And more modern than the current generation.
The current Toyota RAV-4 was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2017. Toyota also introduced the new Prius and Camry there in the last couple of years. And I was really hoping this year would be the new RAV-4. Unfortunately, the show is in a few days and I’ve heard nothing about a new RAV-4…
So far…
We can expect some reskinning with a familiar shape, but with the update in the 5th gen Toyota hybrid tech – just like the new Camry. That’ll be it. Toyota is being very cautious.
What power trains will be in the 2026 will their be a gas none turbo engine with an automatic or all hybrids and plugins.
Looks like all the others…poor planning by Toyota.
