Acura ZDX test drive video.

This is a short video of my experience with the new Acura ZDX.
Not the Type S version I had driven a while ago, but the slightly more affordable “A-Spec” base trim. Which is still over $70,000 including destination.
And that’s its main problem. No matter how you slice it, the Acura ZDX is overpriced. Especially next to the fancier Cadillac Lyriq platform cousin. Which has arguably a more luxurious interior. However, that “Cadillac Luxury” feel isn’t for everyone, as it is very busy. The Acura offers something much cleaner. But also something that might be seen as not as luxurious.
Another problem is the very popular Honda Prologue. Which of course has a different interior and design altogether, but doesn’t feel less luxurious than the ZDX.
The top trom on the Prologue is around $58,000. Which seems like a bargain at over $10,000 less than the Acura.
However, that price problem disappears when you consider leasing the Acura. (As well as the Prologue). It is currently available for $319 a month for 27 months if you include a $4000 “Loyalty/Conquest” offer.
Although the Proplgue lease deals are even better. Starting at an amazing $259 a month with a $3000 down payment. Or even a better-equipped Touring trim for just $10 more a month!
If you can get any of these deals, I think either the Acura or the Honda are pretty fantastic for basically the same payments as a Toyota Corolla.
