Apparently, this new Vanquish Volante is the “fastest, most powerful open top series production Aston Martin to date”. Just to clear things up.
As it should be with a big 5.2-liter V12 with 823HP.
Even with its almost cartoonish face, I think it looks great. The Aston Martin profile is pretty fantastic, and the rear end is pretty futuristic. And the interior is much better than recent Aston Martin interiors. Which started looking a bit too garish. This is just very classy.
This is far from being a regular production car with a limit of 1000 units a year. And especially, the asking price. The 2-door Vanquish coupe starts at $433,000, and you know the convertible will be quite a bit more.
This is really bad news. I was starting to get used to that big grille…
That grille ruins an otherwise beautiful car.
I like everything except the basking shark grille. (But that’s not a dealbreaker if someone cares to buy me one of these!)
