Honda Civic Hybrid hatchback video.

Why don’t you join me and watch this short, but hopefully sweet, video of the hatchback version of the new Honda Civic Hybrid?
Despite a few flaws (and who doesn’t have any…), the Civic Hybrid is an excellent choice. It drives very well. It is comfortable and has a wonderful powertrain. It also has a very nice natural steering feel, which is getting pretty rare these days, at any price. It is also very quiet. Even road noise is well suppressed most of the time. However, that does vary depending on the road surface.
Honda‘s Hybrid powertrain is amazingly smooth and quiet. And it has enough power to just leave it in the eco mode and forget about it. I was able to average over 53MPG in a full week of mixed driving.
In my unprofessional opinion, the main flaw of the current Honda Civic in general is its design. Such a good car deserves much, much more. The interior also seems to have aged quite a bit.
The cost-cutting from the previous year is also puzzling. With Honda removing rear A/C vents and USB plugs. And while everything feels pretty solid in general, the interior door panels seem very flimsy. Something you usually never notice on any other car. (watch the video)
Otherwise, this is a pretty fantastic car.
That front end…..”Suddenly it’s 1973!”
