Buick Electra GS concept.

This new Electra GS is yet another Buick sedan concept. They’ve been showing us what a new Buick electric sedan could look like for the past few years. They even showed a really nice wagon concept last year called the Electra LT.
So far, GM hasn’t put any of these into production. Even in China, where these concepts are designed. The new Electra GS could be quite popular over there, where sedans are still selling very well. And the Buick brand is in general.
The new concept is not a small car. It is actually much larger than it looks in these images. It is about a foot longer than a Lucid Air. From these official images, it looks like it might have a rear hatch, like the Tesla Model S, but who knows…
While it does look very modern, the new Buick Concept also looks like something that could be produced very soon. It seems a few current Chinese EV sedans already look that modern, inside and out.
We already know Cadillac has been working on 2 new EV sedans based on an updated version of the Ultium platform. Which is probably what this concept is using. It seems quite a gamble for Cadillac to actually come up with 2 new sedans in North America. And it would be an even bigger risk for a super large Buick EV sedan.
Which means that even it this becomes production car, we might never see it over here.
Which is really too bad…
