Yes, this new Bentley concept is the very definition of Ghastly. A design that is trying so hard, it becomes painful to look at.
It basically looks like a new Volvo EV. Which, no matter what, would be much cheaper than a Bentley. It also looks a lot like a cross between that new Volvo ES90 sedan and the awkward Mazda MX-30. Neither should cars be an inspiration to anyone.
While I am a big fan of anything with a rear hatch, this just doesn’t work. At all. Again, that shape looks cheap, and the Volvo lights shouldn’t be used on a Bentley. Ever.
The grille itself is also something that should never exist. On that Volvo/Mazda mashup design, it looks like someone added the largest, most vulgar grille they could design to a mundane, generic car shape. The whole thing is just terrible…
Unfortunately, the official word is: “EXP 15 represents Bentley‘s design vision for the future”. Which i quite a sad statement.
Let’s just hope their upcoming EV SUV wasn’t influenced by this.
Whilst the exterior is quite revolting and unpleasant to the human eye, I think the interior looks very nice. A very nice update on the current Bentley interior design theme.
I wonder how many future Bentley models have been designed with this monstrosity as an inspiration, but the future doesn’t look bright for Bentley…

Interior is gorgeous. And I’ll just leave it at that.
This looks like a Chinese minivan reinterpreted as a concept… car. The front is so derivative of that Chinese minivan Geely makes!
Remember when they emergency redesigned the Bentayga before it came out? THIS IS WAY WORSE.

Losing the 4-light front end and signature grille is the biggest offense here.. and to my eyes, the taillights are more Kia than Volvo. Even less aspirational. Hate everything about this.
