Jeep Compass 4xe.

While we saw the new 2026 Jeep Compass a few weeks ago, Jeep just released more info about the off-road 4xe trim.
The new Compass is smaller than the new 2026 Cherokee introduced recently. The Cherokee is based on the same STLA large platform as the Jeep Wagoneer S. While the Compass uses the smaller STLA Medium platform. Just like newer models from Stellantis, European brands like Peugeot and Opel.
The 4xe has a slightly raised suspension by about 1/2 an inch. It has a modular bumper shield and 19-inch wheels. And the usual like “distinctive interior details”. Which doesn’t seem to amount to that much more over the regular Compass.
The 4xe has, of course, AWD, with a total of 375HP and a range of over 370 miles in the European test cycle, from a large 96kWh battery.
The new Compass will be competing against the cool Volvo EX30 Cross Country. But also against other powerful small AWD EVs like the all-new Toyota C-HR EV.
As previously mentioned, the new Compass will also be offered as a Hybrid, depending on markets. Speaking about markets, the US introduction is still not officially mentioned. Since tariffs have put many foreign-built cars on hold for the US.
