Here is the all-new 2026 Kia EV2.

The image on top is the first I have ever seen of the all-new sub-compact Kia EV 2. And I think it looks better than the concept we saw almost a year ago.

I know they both almost look the same, but the production details make the final design a bit stronger in my extremely uninformed opinion.

The new Kia will be officially unveiled in 3 days. And will go on sale later this year around the world. Except for North America, of course. However, Kia could still sell it in Canada, just like the EV5. Since they don’t have as many restrictions as we do over here.

Kia claims the EV3 is still scheduled for the US market later this year. It would then be Kia’s cheapest EV in the states. Since the EV4 sedan has all but been canceled for our market. The EV 3 will be competing against the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt as well as the new 2026 Nissan Leaf. That means pricing could start in the low $30,000.

This new EV2 is of course smaller and even cheaper. Kia will begin production in Slovakia later this year for the European market, where the larger EV3 is already very popular.

I guess something like this would have been under $30,000 in the US. Or even close to $25,000.
