2015 Mazda Miata

Maybe…
This is still just an illustration. But it does incorporate the new Mazda look.
So it could be pretty close to the real thing.
The next Miata will share many parts (But not the design) with an upcoming Alfa Romeo 2 seater, which could be sold here as the new Spider.
New Spider and new Miata. 2015 could be a cool year for convertibles.
I'd just like to take the time to thank Alfa for RUINING one of the greatest cars of the last 2 decades. Might as well have Hyundai help Nissan for the next Z car. Screw Alfa.
As an owner of NA, NB, and NC Miatas (all in different stages of forced induction), I have to say that if the next MX-5 looks like this… I'll be adding the ND to my little stable of Mazda Roadsters.
The overall design is very conventional, and the front is now a common site on other Mazdas. Overall it looks okay, but just "okay." I'm sure it'll handle like it's on rails.
Why are all Mazda's cars underpowered? Is this a company policy or an MPG issue. But, it goes back as far as the eye can see.
Alpha Romeo is not doing anything to ruin the Miata. They are simply using the chasis for their new roadster. The new Miata will be all Mazda and Alpha will supply their own design and use their own engines. Alpha buying these will help Mazda financially.
