VW Polo Sedan

Still looking pretty close to the spy pictures we’ve seen recently of the new US Jetta.
It seems that the 2 cars might be very closely related, with the Jetta getting a different rear end and no 3rd side window.
There are even rumors about the US model getting the small 1.4 Liter turbo to replace the 2.5 Liter engine currently used.
A smaller more efficient Jetta might be a good idea. Going back to what made it successful in the 1st place.
Wow, it is so bland. It looks like it was cobbled together using parts of other cars. I see Civic headlights and taillights, the 3/4 window looks like the Buick Excelle, and the profile looks like a Focus. It looks like it could have come out in 2002. Combine the unoriginal outdated looks with Volkswagens unreliability, and you've got a winner.
looks like a Toyota Yaris
I am hoping that the dash is a pre-production unit with no graining.
If it really has that much gloss, that is stupid.
It has to be a pre production dash. I have seen a real Polo interior in person and it is really nice. Nothing shiny .
The rear smacks of a 1996 Civic sedan, the front totally forgettable…even the center stack is like said Civic.
The Polo sedan is smaller than the Golf/Jetta, and the Jetta is actually growing in its next generation.. so they are not related at all. But they are both looking incredibly dull and hardly groundbreaking in their segments.
Volkswagen never takes my breath away
Exterior is a little bland, but then again what in this segment isn't? Yaris, bland. Accent (and yes I'm talking about the new 2011 or 2012 or whatever), bland. Aveo, bland. Rio, bland. Versa, bland. About the only one I wouldn't call bland is the Fiesta, but the sedan version looks misproportioned. The interior of this VW however, looks like it stands to be the classiest of the bunch. Add to that German driving dynamics. If only they could sort out their quality control.
Its Polo Vento. a 3 box sedan made out of Polo. It is supposed to be launched in India and Brazil in next 6 months
