2012 Buick Regal Wagon???

Last Updated:

This is actually an Opel Insignia wagon… But testing in Michigan!

Which means GM is seriously considering a wagon version of the new Regal.
Great news.
With a new Acura TSX wagon coming, and the departure of the Volvo V70 from the US market, GM might just be on to something….

  1. Its already been proven by German "Consumer Reports" that the Insignia has been pretty poor reliability wise.

I'd still rather have a TSX wagon.

Hopefully the TSX wagon will sell better than the sedan. The current one is pretty lousy. And the addition of a V6 has not helped.

  3. Handsome. Anyway, all they have to do with these wagons is to dress them with aggressive looking wheels and they will sell.

Oh, blah blah blah! The current TSX is a rotten car. I learned long ago that Consumer Reports has different expectations that I do. If I followed what CR recommends, I'd be in some beige POS Toyota. I'll take a risk and not do that. I'm not going to buy a Buick anytime soon. But I do give them credit for out-Lexusing Lexus these days. This looks very good.

  5. Anonymous: I'd love to know that constitutes "pretty poor reliability." Just sounds like more anti-GM crap to me. Opels do well in comparison tests, and they're very popular all over Europe. I'm SICK of anti-domestic, anti-GM bashers. It's NOT 1990 anymore. Get used to it.

that being said, I think a Regal wagon is a natural for TODAY's market. In fact I chopped a GS wagon quite a while ago:

Yeah, Opels have done well in comparison tests. So have VWs. That doesn't mean they are reliable in any way shape or form. VW is at the very bottom of JD Powers studies.

It isn't anti-GM, it is the truth that you can research yourself. Just for your information, I love domestic vehicles. I was just pointing out something that has already been proven.
