Dacia Duster in the US
Last Updated:
That’s one of the rumors.
It might finally mean the return of Renault over here.
Not sure if they would sell it through Nissan dealers or not.
But being “born” as a Dacia, this will be really cheap. Could be around $15000 in the US.
There isn’t much competition at that price. Every other small SUV starts closer to $20 000.
It will be on sale in Mexico next year anyway.
Looks like a Kia Borrego and Jeep Liberty made love and this came out 9 months later.
I dunno, I kinda like it. It would be a nifty little truck to have with a turbo-diesel, 4wd and a manual. That's the kinda car I'd want but then again I'm weird. I think it looks really good though.
For 15K I would totally be down for an apparently rugged body on frame SUV.
this could sell well here…looks much tougher than most other suv/cuv's out there.

Looking tougher and being tougher are two different things.
bring it here as a cheap, quality Nissan…..done!
Compete with Mazda Tribute/ Ford Escape. The new Nissan Merino.
i hope they don't bring it here, it will single handedly decimate the rav4, oh oh !!!!
