Chevrolet Spark on sale in Europe

Where it is one of the cheapest cars on the market, starting at under 10 000 Euros in some countries.(Including all taxes)
This would compete here with cars like the Nissan Versa. As far as I am concerned, it wouldn’t be that hard to make a better car than the Versa for the same price. At least the Spark seems interesting.
Vince, this is WAAAAAY smaller than the Versa!!! The Aveo sells against the Versa (well at least in the US). The Spark is smaller than the Aveo.
Spark sells against Ford Ka (In Europe Nissan sell a rebadged Suzuki Alto which competes against these cars)
Aveo sells against Ford Fiesta and Nissa Versa (in the US, the real Nissan that competes against these cars is the Micra, as the Versa(Tiida) is really from the next class up)
That's one of the ugliest cars I've seen in quite some time. Good luck with that, Chevy.
The overall shape is familiar, but most everything that made the original concept sexy and attractive are gone. The new Ka looks better (both in the pictures and in person), and certainly looks better then the Spark. They still have a great concept on their hands, and I think if they just built something on the platform with a closer resemblance to the original, 2 doors, price it between 18,000 to 25,000, they'd have a winner!
Like the first poster said, the Spark does NOT compete against the Nissan Versa. The Aveo does (or attempts to). The Spark is much smaller and competes with the Nissan Micra.
Education Project: Do you honestly think anyone would pay $18-25k for a Spark?!? This is something that would be positioned below the Aveo and need to sell in the $8-12k range.
This competes with Fisher Price and Hasbro products.

Anyway, this thing is a POS. I'd take a Ka over it any day of the week.
The only thing I like about it is the orange Fanta in the cupholder. European Fanta is much better than the crap we get here in the US.
It looks considerably nicer than the current Spark, which is complete Daewoo trash. This lost a lot since the concept. The wheels are too small and the alloys are a lame design. But this at least has some style compared to other cars in this segment. I would take this any day of the week over a Nissan Versa, even if they cost the same. The Versa has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
YES, it's better than a FIT. NO that's not good enough!
