Challenger SE price

It is official. The base Challenger model will start at $21 995.
Cheaper than previously mentioned.
It’s only about $2000 more than the base Mustang.
But it comes with a more powerful and refined 3.5 Liter V6.
This is good news. Car magazines will review the V8 models all day, the the SE will be the one people will actually buy.
It might even get decent gas mileage.

This SE might be able to hold it’s own against the Camaro and 2010 Mustang!

And it IS a great looking car.
Most of them will have Automatic and some option package. But that would still be under $25 000.
I hear the 2010 Mustang might keep the “old Explorer related” 4.0 V6.
That would be a big mistake. they need to put their new 3.5 Liter in there pronto.
The V6 is the one that sells.
If Ford keeps the old engine, the most popular model of the Mustang will be far behind the competition.
The Challenger is just the same old platform with a new skin. Look at the interior — cheap. Look at the chassis — cheap. The Challenger was a pretty crappy car the first time around in 1970. I don’t expect this one to be any different. Chrysler builds cheap, ‘disposable’ cars for the wanabees.
