2009 Mitsubishi Galant
Last Updated:
Looks like this was already spotted at some auto show.
Although I didn’t see it in Detroit. Or maybe I just wasn’t looking for it.
Another invisible car that will not really help Mitsubishi in the US.
They need something very new and noticeable. Just like the previous Altima.
That might be for a different market altogether.
i think this was at the montreal auto show
i saw this car at the st.louis auto show (of all places) in black. i think it was the ralliart trim level. anyway, although the rear now looks very good, it doesnt really match the rest of the car. they really should have reworked the interior. there is potential here for a really great car
but no, my biggest problem with mitsubishi is their dealerships. probably some of the worst salesment i have ever encountered
5 years is too long for a car to recieve just a “refresh” this Galant SHOULD be all new!
It looks a lot like the one at the Montreal Auto Show. The story being this is that Mitsubishi realized at the last minute that they had no Galant in their booth and even worst they had no 2008 available.
Apparently, they decided to put, almost hidden in the back of the booth, a 2009 model, thinking that nobody would see the difference.
Like the other person wrote, I also believe that Mitsubishi’s biggest problems are not their cars… It’s their human resources… and not only in dealerships… at higher level also.
I saw several at the WASH D.C. Auto show
Your right about dealerships, but here are some things that I found while walking through some of the dealerships that can be user for Letterman’s
TOP TEN list:
1) Suzuki- needs to make their stores more noticeable and have inspectors from SNA counts the coffee rings left over from Donkin Donuts and charge them a $1 each.
2)Toyota- needs to have people that are not going to sell you anything from their mother’s will, including dentures.
3) Mitsubishi- needs to dress more professional
and stop attracting sales people with gold teeth
and chains.
4) Caddy/GM- need to stop their sales people from buying cheap after shave and bingo tickets
5) Jaguar- dealers should open up a jewelry shop
next store and sell all the coal that was stuck up their ass and sell the diamonds.
6) BMW- Dealers should open up a glass factory
next store since their acronym stand for Brake My Windows….
7) Ferrari and Masterai- a nice cappuccino bar
for it guests.
8) Hyundai- a nice message parlor called
“Happy Endings” should be in the back of each store.
9) VW- a gun shop should be next store to blow you brains wide open after paying for wasted labor.
10) Tata – a display of posters which says India next to previous customers names….
which really means (I) I (N) never (d)do ( i) it
(a) again

I saw it at Washington D.C.
What is this, some kinda hail mary attempt to bring Camry styling to a Galant? I agree it should be all new, get a Evo-ish face on it at least. Now I see why Mitsu is in such trouble.
The rear end reminds me of the Proton Waja…a cheap Malaysian car they used to sell here in Australia.
P.S. It’s break not brake. You press the brake pedal but you break a window.
Did anyone notice any changes to the front ????? (evo face) ????
Ssswiiiing and a miss…
