2022 Buick Enclave: first official pix…

Since Chevrolet updated the Traverse a while ago (it has since been pushed back as a 2022 model), it is logical to see its platform cousin, the Buick Enclave, get a revised design as well.
I think the Enclave is one of the best looking 3 rows SUVs out there. And the 2022 changes do not ruin anything.
Sure, the grille is getting bigger. (never an improvement in my book). But it still looks great. The small changes really work well with the rest of the design.
Since the revised Traverse received no new changes inside, I guess the same will apply to the Enclave. Although no official pix of the interior are available yet.
The bad news could be that the new base engine is now probably the 2.0 Liter Turbo. While the super-smooth V6 becomes an option. (Since that’s what happened to the Cadillac XT-6)
Which is really too bad. (The new Infiniti QX60 and Acura MDX are keeping a standard V6.)
Even though in other GM SUVs, the V6 is “only” about $1000 extra.
It always bothers me how tiny the greenhouse is compared to how massive the vehicle is when I'm driving behind on of these or their clones from another GM brand. The rear track looks over a foot wider than the width of the cabin. Such a waste of space to make what is essentially a minivan look "sporty." Especially because all they had to do is make it look like a Tahoe and it would sell like crazy…
seriously, which is the new one? They both look each could replace the other because 'Different yo!!'
spent most of 2019 on the road and drove rentals every week. I had the opportunity to try both the GMC Acadia and the Buick Enclave. The Enclave was nice, quiet, seemed well put together but it was extremely bland. The GMC (base 4cyl) was actually more engaging to drive even though it lacked the leather interior. I priced out the Enclave… these suckers are expensive, starting in the low 40s before options. There are A LOT better vehicles/value at this price point with far more features.
not crazy about the new Enclave exterior design, agree with Vince: bigger grille was not the way to go, it lost some of the uniqueness and actually looks like a Cadillac… headlights into the "bumper" are most disappointing. the rear "redesign".. only a Buick aficionado would notice. what did they do to the interior?
The interior is where the changes were needed most. The current Enclave drives nicely, but the inside is blah and cheesy looking; not upscale at at all.
