More CTS pictures

You have to admit, this looks pretty amazing on these pictures.
I have no idea if the real thing is that great.

Starts at $32,245 for the 263hp. And $34,995 for the 304hp.
The G35 starts at $32,165 for 306hp standard.

No idea if the Cadillac comes with more stuff than the Infiniti.

  1. i think it looks great especially the front end and that has to be one of the nicest interiors ive seen on a gm product

  2. Amazing? The exterior’s blocky and clunky, emphasised by that diagonally-sweeping cutline to the rear of the headlights and front bumper.

The interior’s nice, although I’d want to take a close look at the metallic finish of the console (ever been inside a Crossfire?). By international standards it’s quite neatly done. But ‘amazing’? I think not.

  3. I would buy the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan over this thing. I will have a much lower cost of ownership, and a car that will be better in every category.

  4. This car is why I’m confident of a GM resurgence over the next decade. The interior is just spot one fantastic.

  5. Of course an Accord will have a lower cost of ownership. It’s not a luxury car. As for the ’08 Accord being “better in every category”, well it certainly does well in the Bland, Boring and Ugly category.

As for the CTS, the interior looks great in black. I’d like to see the wood trim replaced by piano black. And the CTS is built on a different platform than Holden Commodore, so the relationship ends with their both being RWD.

  6. Brian,
For those people who think Accords and Camrys are fantastic, there are tons of Accords and Camrys avaialble. And pleated jeans, fanny packs and white sneakers.

Please keep your low standard crazytalk to yourself.

  7. the interior looks better. the exterior looks about the same cept the slightly revised front end. i dont think the bmws or infiniti’s are gonna be worried at all. its still only gonna sell to americans who wouldnt consider a foreign purchase.

  8. “…its still only gonna sell to americans who wouldnt consider a foreign purchase.”

Actually, the last CTS got a lot of conquest sales from the European and Japanese brands. I expect this to do very very well.

DREAM ON..WHO EVER YOU ARE ANONYMOUS!!!

  10. Vince, can we expect a review anytime soon? I think it looks great and it has been getting great reviews as well, but i want to see what someone who drives like a real person thinks.

  11. That is one fine automobile, the thing I like most is that it doesn’t look like everyting else on the road. Go Caddie you are going to break sales records this year, if my street corner gets good traffic I’m gonna own me some of that fine thang.

  12. The Winding Road site has a review of the new CTS after testing it. It was pretty positive, but they still consider it second tier. But, they also agree that it is substantial improvement from the previous one. Cadillac is rebuilding its image, and they know they cannot get to stardom overnight….

Motor Trend tested it and raved about the way this car drives. That is if they are real people.

  14. ^^^i meant regular person, i think that was fairly obvious, but thank you for bringing it up now i will strive to be as perfect as you are.

  15. thank you for bringing it up now i will strive to be as perfect as you are.

    You’re welcome and good luck.

This is a great automobile, even if irregular people at Motor Trend reviewed it and liked it.

  16. I like the cleaned up lines on this version. I don’t like the that retard side grill. It’s a little to high up to be functional. Interior looks OK. Hope the coupe lives up to the hype.

  17. The CTS’s looks are so far superior to that of the Infiniti, I’m embarrassed for the people at Nissan. If you like cars that look like a half-used bar of soap, head over to the Infiniti dealer… they should have an overstock on hand once this hits the road. It’s a very nice update to what was already a solid vehicle.

  18. A comment in another thread summarizes it from me: “The CTS has never been the benchmark for any automaker.”
