Coming soon to the US
Last Updated:
Well. in less than 2 years.
And the one we’ll get might just be the “sport” Abarth version.
I think it’s a great idea.
But I am not sure there are enough Mazerati dealers in the US to take care of all customers.
Fiat is rumored to be interested in buying Jaguar and/or Land Rover from Ford. That would provode them with a large dealer network right there.
We’ll see…
They are also going to need a dealer network that can also handle alfa romeo sales. I could see fiat buying land rover, but fiat has enough problems to deal with and jaguar is a mess, and would compete with Maserati which fiat already owns.
Fiat was shaping as a serious bidder for Jaguar and Land Rover until “concerns that a buy-in would damage the Italian carmaker’s credit rating put an end to negotiations.”(www.carsales.com.au)
Wasn’t fiat almost bankrupt a couple of years ago?
PLEASE buy landrover, put some credit back into their name!
The Bug goes Italian style.
Rumor has it that Fiat has given up on trying to sell a “Fiat” or “Abarth” in the US and will instead import the upcoming Alfa version of this to sell through Maserati dealers.
