These are the 1st official illustrations of this all electric SUV from ZAP and Lotus.
Based on last year’s APX concept.
With crazy specs too:
-More than 300 miles on a charge.
-10 minutes to charge.
-0 to 60 in about 5 seconds.
The whole thing sounds too good to be true.
And it sounds very, very expensive….
Maybe it is a toy. : )

plus it is 100% american

Major flaw in this and too many other car designs nowadays is the terrible rear visibility.
Would be nice to see some new cars without wide blind spots.
Too much attention is given to how the car looks from the outside looking in rather than from the inside looking out.
Great ‘milage’ from a Tahoe? Does that mean it breaks 20 mpg on the highway?
It sounds like they’ve just about matched performance with a gasoline vehicle, all they need to do is work on a way to bring the price down… I read somewhere that this thing was going to cost $65K+; the price needs to drop in half if it’s going to be viable.
Also, it may even be true that it will hit 155 mph, and go 300 miles on a charge, but it won’t do both at the same time… However, this will be an amazing advancement in electric vehicles if the actual numbers are even close.
Kind of gives me hope for the future; we won’t always have a plentiful & cheap supply of gas to keep Douchbag’s Tahoe going.

GM needs this car, that’s who needs this car. I won’t jump on the bandwagon of insulting your geneology or typing errors, but I wonder if you actually beleive what you say… or simply say it to get intelligent people worked up.
Back to GM. Last time I checked they are really pushing ahead with full electric vehicles, trying to be the first manufacturer to come out with a true “plug in” electric, and have made large investments needed to extend the charge life of batteries.
So, your friend (or parole officer) can stick with his Tahoe, but there is a chance that in 2 generations that vehicle might be an electric.

You are right about GM not needing to focus on electric cars. They need to get back to designing cars like the Pontiac Aztek… a truly misunderstood vehicle. I bet that thing could hold 15-20 clowns if they loaded it just right.
