Well, even with the disguised grille it looks like a Nissan product. Could be something they already sell here or something coming from Japan. Iselltoys
The next Prius!! I mean see how much the last one grew from the original… so maybe there is a such a demand for larger vehicles that Toyota decided to make the Prius yet again bigger!
I first saw the headlight, which said to me “New Fiat Trepiuno/500″… but the grille said “Subaru”.
I guess a mini subaru.
I’d guess Subaru or a Nissan of some kind.
I think the next Impreza will be a 2 door, but I think this might be a Scion of some sort. Toyota itself seems not to dare bring it own JDM labeled Vechiles to the US, so this might be a Scion off shoot. Also, I dont think it is a Suzki product either. Vince, did you get this image from a Japanese magazine or website?
This is an old picture of the 5th generation Golf (current one/Rabbit in US) while it was still testing in 2001.
I guess someone thinks that yellow stuff is a Toyota thing. If so, then it could be the little Toyota, Daihatsu, who use a lot of round headlights and share platforms with some Toyota cars.
This is not an old picture. I can tell you that much. And it looks nothing like a Golf anyway (?!)
It looks as it were a version of the new Fiat 500.
If this is the same mystery car as last Friday, let me reiterate: it is some variation of a 3-door Ford Fiesta. Seeing the grill style – despite the round headlights – indicates that this is probably a little car that Mazda will introduce to compete with the Yaris and such.
A quick look at the current Mazda-2 (which shares plenty with the Fiesta) seals the deal. This is a revised Mazda-2 – no doubt about it.
This is the same car as last Friday. So not a 4 door (The Mazda 2 is a 4 door). Still taken in the US very recently.
I have a rear view that I will post shortly.
That’s why I called it a revised Mazda-2. It seems to be a mix of elements – a 3-door Fiesta with Mazda nose and unrelated headlights.
This is clearly a subaru! look at the shape of the grille, very much the same as the new imprezas.
so mazda is gonna do a 2 door variation of the c-max ???
Fiat 500’s my guess. It looks like it.
Lots of you expect it to be a Subaru and Subaru is now own by Toyota so, it should be a Subaru.
I don’t think this is a modified C-Max. It’s too small (see last Friday’s photo). It seems to be a better match to a 3-door Fiesta in profile even with the addition of the tiny window behind the A pillar. The picture seen here shares some geometry with the latest Mazda-2, and the round headlights might be just like the Fiesta’s except surrounded by sheet metal instead of plastic.
Either way, it’s something B segment.
How do I put this, this is either a subaru, or an alfa romeo. In fact, I’ll say the latter. point is, it is one of the two, or some company is really interested in getting sued with a rip off of what’s obviously a signature Subaru grill

Its a obvio. Brazillan Car
DAIHATSU SIRION 08
I would bet anyone that it is a Nissan because of the grill design and I would make a second bet that it is a Nissan March. It’s a small car like a Neon.
Something about the headlight reminds me of VW.
looks like a subaru or kia
