2025 Chevrolet Corvette SUV: new illustration…
Last Updated:
A “GM insider” apparently;y leaked some new info about an upcoming Chevrolet Corvette SUV.
There have been rumors of a “Corvette sub-brand” for years. Even decades. At almost every recent new generation, there were rumors of more than one model. It looks like it will finally happen pretty soon. As GM is planning a Corvette SUV and a sedan based on the Ultium EV platform. And by the way, they are somehow planning to create an “Escalade” sub-brand as well. Like if they suddenly missed having too many brands… Ahh, the good old days…
The illustration above shows a super aggressive-looking beast. Which could be seen as a poor man’s Lamborghini Urus, at a third of the price. (or half) It seems they can actually build anything on the Ultium platform. It could be the ultimate blasphemous move, an electric Corvette SUV. But Ford did it with the Mustang. The Corvette name would have no problem selling a nearly $100 000 super fast high-end EV SUV.
Why not…
Wow another $100+ Electric crossover. If the Kia EV9 is really around 50k and have a GT version like the EV6 GT, that EV9 could be a value leader.

This is idiocy. GM can’t keep four brands going – I’m looking at you, Buick.
Super. This will be like the old GM days when everything Oldsmobile sold was called “Cutlass.”
I used to work for a man who, honest to god, had a new catch word every single month. Really, we kept track of them in a common sharedrive file. He’d sell the same old BS or wheatever someone would tell him, to all the other managers and the upper management layer, by rebranding what he was doing with another cool term. I knew I was in trouble when I’d hear “we just need to …. (insert cool new word)..” I can also hear it now… “Ford has set themselves on fire! We should set outselves on fire!”. btw – This is how companies fail (by letting these people direct the business and be promoted).
i agree with x…. and we used to have an 88 cutlass something… hideious two door…. although those were some bumpers for sure back then…. took out a lot of things….
on the other note…. i typed in cutlass into the search and it came up with the cutlass supreme…. bah haha… that sounds like an order at Taco Bell….
GM…. don’t do it… you had so much potential with your designs and stance on EV…. now this….ugh ohh… focus on Caddy and Buick first….
