We finally get to see the real thing without any camouflage. The whole revised Tesla Model Y and its new light bars.
I guess this makes sense and brings Tesla‘s most popular model closer visually to its most recent other designs. Like the Cybertruck and Cybercab.
The new front might make the car look “new enough” to most people. Or even current Tesla owners. While the interior is expected to be similar to the revised 2024 Model 3. Maybe there will be a few more surprises inside as well. Spy shots have already shown new speaker placements. Maybe there will be more.
Of course, we have no specs on the revised tesla Model Y yet but the powertrain is rumored to stay close to what we’ve had for the past few years. Except for maybe a larger battery option.
There is also a rumor of a longer wheelbase model with a real third-row seat. At least for the Chinese market. A few months after the original release.
I noticed the basic RWD Model Y now comes with a cheaper 7-speaker audio system. Let’s hope the new version isn’t discontented even more. I guess the 9-speaker system from the base Model 3 would be expected on the base Y. No price cut is expected since the Model 3 didn’t get one with its revision in 2024.
Currently, you can lease a Tesla Model Y for the exact same price as a “cheaper to buy” Molde 3 at $299 per month.
